Woman witnesses crash that killed her sister in flames

Nikki Gray, 23, reported a crash at US 127 and SR 725 at about 645 am Tuesday. Her sister Kelly Montine, 28, Eaton, a Preble County Head Start assistant teacher and mother of two, died when a tractor trailer hit Montine’s car, pushing it left of center into a dump truck and sparking flames that consumed three vehicles. The other two drivers escaped injury. Camden is 25 miles southwest of Dayton.

Homebuilder to plead guilty in fraud case

William Erpenbeck Jr. and his father Anthony Erpenbeck Sr. plan to plead guilty Monday to conspiring to obstruct justice and attempted obstruction. They were accused of pressuring a family member Lori Erpenbeck to alter her testimony at a sentencing hearing to lessen the ex-builder's responsibility for the company fraud.
