Mrs Fay Glavas 43 of 264 East Broad St was seriously injured when the car she rode in slid on snow and wrecked near Russia. Glavas suffered severe head cuts and was listed in critical condition at Elyria Memorial Hospital. Her son Kosmo J Glavas 24 was also hospitalized for possible leg fractures. Other accidents included a Mohawk Motor Line truck collision on Rt 20 near Buttermind and a Buick sideswipe on Rt 20 east of Rt 76. A Ped Star Transit Co truck skidded off R 20 near the Huron County line. two more cars collided head on on Rt 20 near Russia. James Brown and Benjamin Stanels involved. Brown detained for investigation.
