Avon councilman attacked by former commission officials
Two former Charter Review Commission members assailed At large Avon Councilman Jack Kilroy at a City Council meeting criticizing his methods and motives. They cited his campaign financing from developers and Jack Smith family supporters and accused him of concentrating control through appointing a ally to the commission. Kilroy denied the charges, saying the attacks were factually and legally incorrect and that fundraising was legal. The critics pledged to work to unseat Kilroy in November.
