Felony charges urged in Sheffield Lake teacher case

House Speaker ONeill says he can build a House majority to kill the MX, but Reagan is pulling out all stops to assure its survival. Regan predicts a very close vote as lawmakers attend White House briefings. A New York Times report says 23 House Democrats sent a private letter to Gorbachev warning of consequences to arms talks over treaty violations. The first MX vote is set for Tuesday on $1.5 billion for 21 missiles. the Senate approved the package 55-45 last week. Supreme Court declines revive Luck murder case

The Supreme Court let stand Ohio rulings that threw out a 1983 murder indictment against Katherine Luck of Sheffield for the Oct 30 1967 Lakewood killing of Helen Marie Tietjen. Luck confessed after a five hour interrogation without a lawyer present, and police misconduct rendered the confession inadmissible.
