Gloria Estefan spine surgery declared successful
Gloria Estefan underwent spinal surgery after a tour bus crash in Pennsylvania. Surgeon Dr. Michael Neuwirth said two steel rods were implanted to restore spine alignment and relieve pressure on the spinal cord. Estefan, 32, is expected to recover in three to six months and may resume dancing with therapy and a brace.
