Jury convicts woman of killing teenage grandson in self defense

A 75 year old woman in West Bloomfield Township was found guilty of second degree murder and using a firearm during a felony for shooting her 17 year old grandson, Jonathan Hoffman, last May after a heated argument. The jury rejected her self defense claim and debated a 911 call showing continued gunfire. Prosecutors say the shots totaled six hits from ten rounds over six minutes.
