Bus driver resigns after narrow bus train near miss
Reverend Kenneth Schultz, part time Vermilion School District driver and Christian Missionary Alliance church pastor, faced charges for failing to maintain attention as a bus with 30 elementary students neared Norfolk Southern tracks on Route 60. Teens hurt in Rt. 511 collision near Quarry Road
Three teenagers were injured when a car crossed into a tractor trailer on state Route 511 near Quarry Road. Clyde Gibson, 17, was flown to MetroHealth Medical Center in stable condition. Sandra Williams, 16, and Jennifer Rhodes, 17, received treatment at Memorial Hospital in Oberlin. The driver, Randall Burgess, 37, was not hurt. The crash occurred around 1:40 p.m. and caused westbound traffic delays and detours onto Quarry Road.

Missing Yosemite visitors found bodies in burned car trunk
Two women vanished during a Yosemite visit were found dead in the trunk of a burned rental Pontiac Grand Prix in Sierra Village California. FBI agent James Maddock said no third body was found and the cause of death was not released. The victims were Carole Sund 42 Julie Sund 15 and their Argentine friend Silvina Pelosso 16. The investigation seeks those responsible.
