E books outsell hardcovers for first time in January
The Association of American Publishers reports e book sales more than doubled from 32.4 million dollars in January 2010 to 69.9 million in January 2011, surpassing hardcover and mass market sales while total sales edged below last year. Crime notes from March incidents in several city blocks
On March 16 and 17 police logged multiple incidents including a Wii theft in a burglary on East River Street. Offices on Washington Avenue saw a break in with a computer and $22,000 in dental tools taken. Charles suspects faced charges for receiving stolen property and marijuana possession.
