Violence against Indians highest among racial groups says DOJ study
A Department of Justice study shows Indians experience violent crime at about twice the rate of blacks whites or Asians. In 1998 110 of 1000 Indians faced violence versus 43 for blacks 38 for whites and 22 for Asians. Domestic violence among Indian women is cited as elevated with poverty and limited services contributing factors.
