Papp Told Me He Did It, Former Cellmate Testifies

In 1973 before his first trial Timothy Papp told a Columbia High School basketball star he raped and killed Roxie Ann Keathley. Clark Ashley testified in Papp’s retrial about the cellmate discussion in Lorain County Jail. Ashley said Papp confessed during a jail exchange and described disposing of the body in a trunk and woods.

Israel and Palestinians fight on as talks stall

Letter to Nixon on mail delays reaches seven years late

The 1971 letter by George Mellendorf protesting poor maul delivery in Vietnam arrives in San Clemente, California seven years late. A San Francisco post office form apologizes for the delay as Nixon aides track Mellendorf down in Port Huron, Michigan. The 28 year old insurance salesman, now married, awaits Nixon's belated response as his wife notes ongoing mail problems.

Our Town in Elyria High staged by West and Tattersall

Brad West and Sarah Tattersall of Elyria High School perform the lead roles in Our Town. The pair acted tonight at 8:15 and will show Sunday at 2:15 in the EWS auditorium.
