Valley City reports the Buckeye Science Fair will be held at Buckeye High School tonight from 7 to 9 p.m. under the direction of science teachers Ray Cooke and John Murphy. The event showcases various student science projects for public viewing.
Elyria Lodge IOOF awarded first degrees to Donald J. Starr of Lorain and Melvin Rogers Jr of Elyria at a Broad Street temple meeting. Second and third degrees are scheduled for the two men next Tuesday at 7 p.m. at the IOOF temple.
Oberlin hosts Legislation Days with speakers from Ohio Federation of Women's Clubs and area officials. Mrs Swanbeck and Mrs Lysaght preside as topics cover aging Gerontology, obscene literature and public school employment issues. Attendees include Sen Mosher and Rep Ethel Swanbeck. The luncheon follows at James Brand House.
