Black River Historical Society hires first executive director
Barbara Piscopo, a former teacher and administrator, becomes executive director of the Black River Historical Society to expand the Moore House Museum and boost membership. The society, about 300 members strong, plans open houses and fundraisers while launching an updated website and outreach efforts.
