Moe's Bar on St Patrick's Day an Insh Pub in Cleveland
A memoir vignette recalling Moe's Bar on St Patrick's Day in the late 1940s Cleveland east side near Mayfield Hill. The author describes Moe's as a dirty, graffiti-lined social hub for students, where early experiments with beer and tobacco occurred, and where a lively chorus of Irishness and campus lore filled the night before the bar was torn down and rebuilt.
