Wellington Eagles 2051 Celebrated with Village Key
The Wellington Fraternal Order of Eagles 2051 received a village key on March 6 for its 100th anniversary. Mayor Hans Schneider named March 13–19 as Wellington Eagles 2051 Week and March 14 as Wellington Eagles Day. The group counts about 2,200 members with many living outside Wellington and plans a sold out anniversary party at 631 S Main St. The Eagles, Ohio’s 12th largest, host diverse weekly events and have donated over $810,000 to charity since 2004. Members of safety forces or veterans may join for free for one year.
