State legislators funded 400000 to acquire two sites for Lake Erie state parks near Lorain and east of Cleveland. The 1700 acre area on shore of a lake with toledo access is under consideration for public use, with plans to assess its fit and potential park development.
Arthur Moog, probation officer, appealed to county commissioners for 600 dollars more to cover establishment costs and ongoing expenses. Columbus reports new gas rates for River Gun Co customers in Marietta set by the Public Utilities Commission.
