Ohio high school basketballs three class plan proposed
A reader proposes reclassifying Ohio high schools into Class AA for 280 plus boys, Class A for 240 to 100, and Class B for under 100 to widen tourney access. He cites Indiana as a model with a single class and a state champion, urging adoption to reduce domination by Clearview Amherst and Oberlin and boost smaller schools. The letter also discusses fan desires to keep the tournament at Cleveland’s Oberlin gym and praises finer points of local sports events.
