Wellington plant expansion eyed on 27 acres
Village President Linda Navarre says Sectional Die Co. plans an expansion on 27 acres of village land off Maple Street. If a Community Development Block Grant funds the plan the firm would buy the land for 50 000 dollars. The plant would create 63 jobs as per a Chronicle Telegram legal ad confirming a stamping plant is proposed.

Drakes' wife pleads innocent in holdups
Monica Drakes 30 appeared in Columbiana County Common Pleas Court on charges of complicity to aggravated robbery in two holdups on Jan 18 in Ohio and West Virginia. Bond set at 15000, she remanded to jail after brief hearing. Her 16 year old brother is also charged and the case is with Lorain County juvenile authorities. Mrs. Drakes is believed to have waited in a car during the Wellsville Ohio grocery store and Weirton West Virginia gas station robberies.
