Russell O. Leimbach 69 of Oberlin died. He was a former North Ridgeville High School basketball player. Survived by wife Louise M. Leimbach and children Laurie Morrisseau Wendi Smith Tammy Maddock Rachel Hanwell Scott Leimbach Dr Thomas Brosky II Maribel Muniz, sister Karen Milek and many grandchildren. Delores J. Johnson 70 of Elyria died March 6 2008 in EMH. She enjoyed shopping reading her Bible and time with family. Survived by daughters Karen E. Johnson Eliza Grant and Michael L. Johnson and nieces and other relatives. Friends may call March 13 2008 at Second Baptist Church Elyria with services March 14 2008 at 11 AM led by Rev Carl. Online condolences requested.
Doris Irish of Wellington died after a short illness. Born March 26 1919 in Michigan she moved to Wellington at seven and was raised by the Wadsworth family. She was a 1938 Wellington High School alum and longtime poll worker. Survivors include Maurice A. Irish Jr Skatakor Jaco Irish Connie Lamay eight grandchildren and three great grandchildren. Funeral services were held at Norton Eastman with burial at Rochester Township Cemetery. Memorials may be sent to Rochester United Methodist Church Herrick Memorial Library or New Life Hospice.
Mattie Mae Barlow nee McAfee 87 of Lorain died March 9 2008 after a lengthy illness at Lake Pointe Health Center Lorain born August 3 1920 in Laurens County Georgia lived in Lorain County since 1959 She worked at Lorain Tower and Supply as a supervisor a member of Greater St Matthew AME Church served with the Women's Missionary and as church stewardess survived by her sons Cumming Barlow Jr and Duane Barlow daughter Ginette Whitfield six grandchildren 13 great grandchildren and many relatives and friends preceded in death by husband Cumming Barlow Sr 1993 parents Johnny H and Mabel McAfee and grandson Jerry M Barlow 2005 Visitation Friday March 14 2008 10am service 11am at Greater St Matthew AME Church burial Elmwood Cemetery Lorain Arrangements by Brown Robinson Funeral Home Lorain

Ralph Sherrill 72 of Crossville Tennessee died March 10 2008 at Country Place Health Care Center He was born June 29 1935 in Crossville He was a contractor for Sherrill Brothers Construction in Elyria He was a Church of God member and enjoyed riding horses outdoors fishing hunting and gardening He is survived by three daughters Loretta Roysdon Michele South and Rhonda Jo Sherrill a son Gary Sherrill a brother Jackie Sherrill six grandchildren and two great grandchildren Funeral services will be held March 13 2008 at 1 PM in the Bilbrey Funeral Home Chapel with Brothers Ralph Reagan Stevens officiating Burial will follow at Big Lick Cemetery in Crossville
