March Madness expands beyond hoops to many sports
Fans rally as March Madness widens from boys basketball to wrestling hockey and girls basketball. North Olmsted reached the state hockey tournament while a North Ridgeville graduate placed second in NCAA wrestling. In Columbus, county wrestlers Doug Foor and Erik Burnett won class titles. Westlake reached regional finals in girls basketball and Lorain Admiral King and Lorain Catholic advanced to boys regional play.
