Designers explore contrasts in home design using varied wall ceiling and floor textures. They mix rough sawn wood with smooth finish lumber in panels doors and beams to create visual interest. Different wood species provide color variety across rooms, from western red cedar to west coast hemlock and Douglas fir.
The Electro Alloys Division of American Brake Shoe Co will display its work and products at the Southwestern Metal Expo and Congress, sponsored by the American Society for Metals. The event runs May 9 to 13 in Dallas and will feature displays and sessions drawing metal engineers from up to 600 miles. The Elyna plant is located at Taylor Street and Abbe Road.
