Marine Corps chief reaffirms support for Osprey
Marine Corps Commandant Gen James L Jones reiterated support for the V 22 Osprey aircraft amid review pressures. He said the CH 46E and CH 53D replacements are economically and operationally best served by Ospreys and that no new evidence suggests the program is in peril. He noted the Dailey panel will report in April and the Marines will withhold some advocacy until its findings.
