Millionaire buys Aryan Nations land in Idaho for museum
Internet millionaire Greg Carr purchased the 20 acre Aryan Nations compound near Hayden Lake for 250000 with plans to convert the site into a museum and human rights center. The Church of Jesus Christ Christian building will be kept as a museum while outbuildings are torn down. The Keenans who won a 6.3 million lawsuit against Butler and Aryan Nations last year sold the property at bankruptcy auction. Carr aims to showcase Nazi artifacts to teach a positive message and fight extremism. Governor Kempthorne praised the plan as a clear Idaho stand against hate.
