Elyria Pioneers Clinch Buckeye Conference Title
Coach Mike Riley led the youthful Elyria Pioneers to the 1975-76 Buckeye Conference basketball crown. From a 2-2 start to a 12-0 late league run, Elyria overcame late deficits and relied on two seniors among a sparse lineup to finish ahead of Admiral King Findlay Mansfield. The team compiled an 84-24 record under Riley.
