Lorain County Teams Eye Kent State District Bid
Amherst Ridgeville and Avon Lake face tough district B play at Kent State University in a 15-team field. Amherst arrives with a one-game path to Kent while Ridgeville and Avon Lake won four county and two sectional games, with Amherst exempt from county play. Avon Lake draws Cortland first, then faces North Canton Westlake or Doylestown. Ridgeville meets Geneva then Sebring, with Brecksville or Akron Ellet lurking, and Amherst faces Rittman then Waynesburg potentially, all shaping an uncertain Lorain County bid to the regional.
