Ohio to restore Highway Gothic on signs after Clearview reversal
The Ohio Department of Transportation will revert to Highway Gothic on dark highway signs, ending the federal move away from Clearview. Some Clearview signs may stay until about 2036 as officials say the switch reflects orders, not safety concerns. In Columbus a separate program helps pharmacists check prescribing histories, cutting doctor shopping by 71 percent last year and aiding handling of difficult refusals.
