Library collects old cell phones and ink printers for fundraiser
Ritter Public Library in Vermilion began accepting discarded cellular phones and used ink cartridges to cut waste and raise funds for the Friends of the Library. Volunteers report boxes filling quickly as people donate, with hundreds of ink cartridges already collected and phones awaiting pickup. The exact payout per item will depend on the recycled material and the chosen recycling agent.
