Sen Brown seeks to keep Peter Elliot as U.S. marshal
U.S. Sen. Sherrod Brown says he will recommend to President Obama that Peter Elliot be reappointed U.S. marshal for the Northern District of Ohio. Harassment accuser is sentenced in separate case
Cynthia Mingus 29 was sentenced to three years probation in county Common Pleas Court for passing bad checks at Morris Pontiac in North Ridgeville last January. She had earlier received one year probation and 50 hours of community service from a Cuyahoga County court for the same offense. Mingus had filed a protection order against Avon Lake Municipal Court bailiff Mark Hagedorn in July.
