Three Elyria robberies raise alarm in Eastern Heights
Police seek three suspects after two armed robberies and one attempted robbery occurred within 12 hours in Elyria's Eastern Heights. A white man 5'9" wore a grey hoodie and blue jeans at Dairy Mart on East Broad Street, a second white man in a tan work coat demanded a purse at Gates Building parking lot, and a petite woman 5'2" wearing a black hooded jacket and scarf attempted to rob Jeanie's Party Cakes on Prospect Street. Police say the incidents may be isolated and not necessarily connected.
