Funds From B1 Health Care Shortfall Looms for Teachers
The School Employees Retirement System may exhaust its health care fund by 2006, executive director Thomas Anderson says. Changes likely by midyear target eligibility, payment levels, and plan design with gradual phasing, possibly cutting subsidies for retirees under 60 while those 60 and older keep aid. The Ohio Retired Teachers Association urges slowing and reconsideration.
