Two Bandits Get $568 In Bus Holdup Near Arlington
MEMPHIS Tennessee two youthful bandits boarded a bus twenty miles east of the city last night and held up the Memphis to Nashville Greyhound on the roadside. They took 568 at gunpoint while several passengers hid cash and jewelry in their shoes and seats. Grover T. L King stopped the bus to pick up the pair and one passenger, J P Davenport of Lewisville Kentucky, reportedly hid a 1600 dollar bank roll in upholstery as the holdup occurred.
