Wellington youngsters explore expression through Saturday art classes
Twenty two Wellington children from first to eighth grade joined an eight week program organized by the Wellington Junior Women's Club and supported by the Ohio Federation of Women's Clubs. Art instruction focused on expression using pencils brushes and paints guided by instructor Mrs. Richard MacDermott with assistance from local artist Mrs. Charles Hawiey. The program ended with a museum visit to Oberlin College Allen Art Museum where assistants explained the masters works and styles to the students.
