This mid Lenten Sunday marks Refreshment Sunday with two Holy Communion services at 7:30 and 10:45. The sermon titled Spiritual Nourishment urges deeper penitence over the coming three weeks, stressing nourishment of the soul for eternity beyond this life.
The Sunday program includes morning Holy Communion in the English service, a 10 45 AM sermon by Rev Philip H Wichern and congregational music. Evening services feature an Evangelistic Song Service and a preaching on The Saving Grace of God with special music. Various youth groups Sunday school and midweek meetings are listed, plus Pilgrim and United Presbyterian activities and Thursday vestry and Friday junior meetings.
John R Mott invites worship at the House of God for spiritual renewal and weekly bearings. Elizabeth Stevens Missionary Society dinner follows a youth and family event schedule including Girl Scout and Boy Scout meetings, Lenten service, committees, choir rehearsals, and class meetings through Friday with dues collection noted.
Our Pasacuea The Church of the Nazarene plans four services Sunday with a 9 49 a m Sunday school followed by the morning preaching. At 6 45 p m the youth group meets and the 7 45 p m evening preaching begins. Rev W F Clay will preach in the morning on Obtaining a Good Report and in the evening on Bible Prosperity. Public invitation extends to all attendees.

Lutheran Hour with Walter Maier on WHE at 1:30 Sunday. Church of Christ plans 10 a m communion worship. Bible study and youth assembly activities led by Mary Eleanor Foster and C A Gibbons. Evangelistic services begin March 10.
Oberlin Road and Princeton Avenue churches publish Sunday services from 10:00 A M to 7:30 P M with multiple week day activities. Parsonages listed. pastors named, including Br J Lo Uriech and Rev A.
