Ohio drug price proposal faces signature challenge
Ohio Manufacturers' Association the Ohio Chamber of Commerce and the Pharmaceutical Research and Manufacturers of America sue over petition signatures claiming four legal areas were violated and signatures should be tossed. Opponents warn removing those lines would drop the tally below required thresholds for state lawmakers to consider the measure. Attorney Kurt Tunnell cites clear proof of legal breaches. Backers say signatures meet requirements after extra reviews ordered by elections chief Jon Husted who sent the proposal to the General Assembly on Feb 4 following boards' scrutiny.
