JBC Technologies expands North Ridgeville facility
JBC Technologies owned by Joe Bliss extends its Elyria to North Ridgeville operation with a 40 000 square foot addition worth 2.5 to 3 million dollars. The expansion, due for completion in April, aims to ease crowding and boost office and manufacturing space while adding more than 70 high efficiency skylights for natural lighting. The privately held firm employs 80 to 85 and may create more jobs, though Bliss is cautious.

The Zumbathon Life-Share drive at North Ridgeville Education Center raised 2085 dollars with a 500 dollar Life-Share grant. 57 participants donated 22 units of blood, 15 baskets raffled, and a 300 dollar 50/50 silent auction.
