Move It! Seals at New England Aquarium Promote Kids Fitness
Five northern fur seals are featured in a new exhibit at the New England Aquarium to entice obese children to exercise. The $10 million Move It program at the Marine Mammal Center showcases Isaac the 9 year old seal who weighs 350 pounds and eats 16 pounds at a time. The program aims to inspire children by highlighting the seals athleticism as they swim, dive, and balance on their flippers in a sunlit open area.
