Cleveland Museum of Art chief to lead Philadelphia museum
Ruth will become the 13th director of Philadelphia’s art museum in September, after serving as Cleveland Museum of Art CEO for three years. The Cleveland museum is completing an eight year 335 million expansion and has returned 14 works to Italy that had been stolen or illegally exported. Timothy Rub led Cleveland since 1971 after D Harnoncourt’s death, and trustees praised Rub as ideal for the Philadelphia post.

Avon Lake teen accused in internet rape case
Lorain police investigate a 16-year-old Avon Lake boy alleged to have raped a 14-year-old girl met on MySpace. The girl, reluctant to cooperate, told her mother she wants this to go away. The boy allegedly arrived at her home after promising not to come, and she was later examined at Amherst Hospital's emergency room after the incident.

Judge Denies New Trial For Covender Over Molestation Trial
