Ohio to roll out new A to F school report cards
The Ohio Department of Education will launch the first phase of a new A to F report card system in about eight weeks to better communicate school and district performance. Six components include Achievement, Progress, Gap closing, Graduation rate, K-3 literacy, and Prepared for success. Officials say the new system offers deeper data to guide resource focus and ensure student needs are met. Lorain district staff prepare for a July 8 presentation to the Academic Distress Commission amid ongoing data mining.
