Not Full Amount Phone Head Expects Rate Hike
William C. Henry of Northern Ohio Telephone told Farm Bureau officials in Norwalk that the PUC likely will not grant the full rate hike. He said the $40.508 million plant inventory could drop at least 10 percent and cited Mansfield as a precedent with 74 percent granted. He expects about 6 percent above expenses, and a preliminary PUC report by Aug. 1 ahead of hearings in September or October. Communities Seville and Wadsworth backed financing efforts. Norwalk, Marion Rickey, and Ashland officials attended.
