Reverend Bela Csontos, pastor of the Hungarian Reform Church in Lorain, died when a car returning from a vacation veered off Route 2 and struck a concrete culvert near Columbia Center. His wife, 29, was seriously injured, and their two children, Thelma 7 and Ladislaw 3, escaped with minor injuries. The accident also involved three other traffic incidents nearby with minor injuries.

Endurance Plane Fire Extinguished
MERIDIAN Miss June 29 The endurance plane Ole Miss caught fire while flying five miles from the municipal air port but pilots Al and Fred Key quickly extinguished the blaze. They reported by radio the fire came from a short circuit and damage was slight. The fire was confined to wires from the battery to the radio set. They flew to the airport and dropped the burnt wire. The jet stabilizer was damaged by last night’s thunderstorms but not dangerously. They said they would stay aloft as long as the motor holds.

Cars Collide Three Persons Lose Lives
In Columbus Ohio three people died and a fourth injured in an auto crash at a city intersection early today. Miss Francis Laflin a Columbus nurse, Clarence Uhl and Clarence Ressler both of Lancaster were killed when their cars collided and overturned. Dr Maxwell Miss Laffin's companion was slightly injured.
