Amherst electric bills delayed again in council committee
Amherst Utilities Committee again delays action on the rate study proposing uniform residential charges to reduce bills by about 19.2 percent. City residents would pay 8.50 for the first 100 kWh, outside residents 10.43 now, while some members urge keeping different rates to reflect service costs.
