One man dies and several injured after a two car crash near stop 51 on Lake Road Avon Lake last night. Daniel Rogers 28 Lorain driver of a 1950 Pontiac died in the collision. Ada McCracken 41 Avon Lake and Willam J Rice 30 Clarksbury now National Tube dormitory resident injured with serious to possible skull fractures and internal injuries. The crash occurred when Rogers failed to negotiate a curve and struck McCracken's westbound car. Mrs McCracken sustained possible back and skull injuries. Rice suffered a broken nose and possible skull fracture. The other passenger in Rogers car, Albert Horan of Lorain, was released after minor injuries.
