Prominent Yard Sale Ties Exposed in Political Probe
In a congressional inquiry, Fred and Davey recount how a Tampa St Johns shipyard yard, once run for government by the Maritime Commission, was sold to private interests including Peninsula Steel and the Florida Pip and Supply Co. A series of cash payments and alleged schemes to control the yard led to a loss for taxpayers. The witnesses describe large asset gaps, added equipment sales, and the RFC loan amid calls for accountability.
