Ross P. Andrews, head of a Per company, has been named treasurer after serving multiple terms. He entered the paper business as a traveling salesman and is now connected with the largest exchange in the region, shaping the firm’s ongoing operations.

The Northern Ohio Railway Co filed with the Public Utilities Commission of Ohio for permission to close the Baker's freight and passenger station in Lorain County. A hearing is set for Friday June 11 at 1 p.m. Residents may appear to object to the abandonment.
