Tanker slams buses in Iran killing seventy one
A gasoline tanker collided with a line of packed buses at a police station on the Zahedan Bam road, triggering explosions that killed at least 71 people and injured 108. Officials said many victims burned as fire crews arrived from Zahedan about 70 miles away. The tanker, carrying 4,680 gallons of fuel, reportedly lost control possibly due to steering failure. The incident occurred late Thursday near southeastern Iran.
