Interfaith leaders unite to oppose Iraq war in LA
About 50 representatives from Christian Jewish and Muslim faiths met at All Saints Church to craft an interfaith charter opposing the Iraq war and shaping a shared moral stance. Participants included Rev George Regas Shirin Ebadi Maher Hathout and Leonard Beerman as they split into groups to draft a guiding document for faith communities across Los Angeles.
