Lorain teen Christopher Kiki Pacheco, 15, finished eighth grade at Clearview Darling Middle School and loved life. His family recalls a day spent shooting hoops before he joined friends heading to Lake Erie for a swim, despite it being four feet deep in a pool and unknown dangers at the lake.
In Lorain Ohio Christopher Pacheco 15 disappeared while swimming with two friends near Harmon's Beach. His body was recovered by the Lorain Police dive team about 50 yards from the breakwall, marking the first lake fatality of the year as crews cited a lake current and 3-foot waves.
Stark County Sheriff Rick Perez and FBI agent Scott Wilson spoke to reporters as the search for 26 year old Jessie Marie Davis continued with leads being followed. Perez said a timeline of associates is being built and Canton Patrolman Bobby Cutts Jr remains an associate not a suspect.
