Bicyclist Struck By Car In Elyria
Police investigated a Sunday morning crash on Lake Avenue near Oak Street in Elyria after a 22 year old Lorain woman attempting to pass a northbound 10 speed bicycle struck William Fortin. Fortin 20 was seriously injured with leg and head lacerations and a fractured leg. He was taken to Elyria Memorial Hospital in the ICU. The vehicle fled the scene and no charges were immediately filed.
