Vermilion Festival Fryer Fight Burns Worker
Two Vermilion men, William Johnson and Jason Zimmerman, 26 and 23, fought on the Vermilion Fish Festival midway knocking over a deep fryer. A Worthington concession worker received first and second degree burns to arm hand abdomen and legs and was treated at Lorain Community Hospital. Police charged the pair with aggravated assault and disorderly conduct after officers and a firefighter broke up the scuffle around 9 pm.
