Henrietta Township Plans Flood Plain District Boundaries
The Henrietta Township Zoning Commission discussed defining flood plain district boundaries in its zoning revisions to allow recreation but bar residential building in flooded areas. They considered options near streams, river boundaries, and a 25 foot or riverine setback, while exploring land for nonresidential uses and awaiting regional planning input. Public hearings are planned after regional and county reviews with a resumed meeting in September.
