Four Hurt In Two Car Crash At Route 10 Intersection
Four people suffered possible serious injuries in a two car crash at Route 10 and East River Road last night at 9 30. Adeline Lesky 31 of 424 West 12th Street drove a 1953 car north on Route 10 and turned onto East River Road when she was struck by a westbound car driven by Luanna Williams 21 a Fairview Park Hospital student nurse. Both drivers were admitted to Elyria Memorial Hospital for examination. Lesky's mother Nellie Tarnowski 57 riding with her and visiting from Elyria was admitted for a compound fracture of her right arm and possible chest injuries. Williams was with a passenger driver Jack Billings 31 of Portage Pa in a 1953 car owned by Billings and he was admitted for possible internal injuries a small fracture and forehead and scalp cuts. Deputies said both cars were badly damaged. Lesky and Tarnowski were returning from Grafton after visiting Lucille Noveske Lesky's sister.
